Vera Vidal (ヴェラ ヴィダル Vera Vidaru) is a fan character in the Tekken series who first appeared in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, and is a main character of the Perfect Wind fanon universe's Tekken arc. In every game since then, she is available by customizing Christie Monteiro.
Vera is a passionate capoeirista who occasionally acts as a vigilante. Despite her feminine fashion sense, she is a tomboy at heart. She likes to travel and make friends.
Fighting Style Edit
Vera uses capoeira, identical to Christie Monteiro or Eddy Gordo.
Vera is a tall dark-skinned 19-year-old woman with an athletic build and a very pronounced bust. Her facial features suggest a mix of Latin, African, and Western heritage. Her dyed red hair is in a ducktail style reminiscent of Jin Kazama or other '90s fighting game heroes, reflecting her tomboyish-at-heart personality. She is almost always seen wearing black framed glasses.
Despite her tomboyish personality, Vera often wears revealing feminine clothes. Her primary outfit consists of a blue and black bikini top, olive green khaki shorts, and black sandals. Her casual wear usually consists of jeans and crop tops.
Vera grew up in Brazil. The daughter of a local capoeira master, she was also his protege.
Tekken 6 Edit
As Jin Kazama spread terror across the world, Vera's small village would be attacked, and she would barely escape with her life. Swearing revenge, Vera would enter the 6th King of Iron Fist Tournament. She would befriend Gaku Kazemaru, and the two would have a short-term relationship. However, it would quickly end after Gaku left for Egypt, though the two remain friends.
Character Relationships Edit
- Gaku Kazemaru - Her fellow competitor and short-term boyfriend during the 6th King of Iron Fist Tournament.
- There are plans to make her relative (most likely sister) in Tekken 7 using Katarina Alves as a base.
